Richard

84. Founder, CEO, Chairman of Canary. Inventor, authoritative, monstrous. He wants more power and more control, to be the biggest energy company in the world - complete control of London. His biggest obstacle is his age.

The Sisters

An all-female workforce who are tried without due process and forced into the underground Doser facilities. They have disappeared from their families and communities, they ‘work off’ their sentences in secret servitude.

The Dosers

The unwanted in society. They disappear by their thousands, sent to an underground facility to become Dosers. Machines introduce a highly addictive synthetic into the user called Euph. The machines then extract a chemical byproduct from the user - a key component for the generation of clean energy. The drug Euph gives users what the world cannot, euphoria, and once taken, addiction is inevitable.

The Remnant

A group of escaped Dosers. Fiercely loyal - often to the point of cult-like obsession. They devote themselves to freeing Dosers and destroying Canary. The group fights internally about their methods.

FAULTS is not just a show; it’s an immersive experience that challenges our perceptions of addiction, examining both behavioural and substance dependencies. Our mission is to present the situations authentically, using the sci-fi element as a wrapper, illustrating how addiction can arise and its profound, long-term impact on seemingly unrelated lives.”

FAULTS boldly explores addiction as both escape and captivity—a world where control feeds on human trauma and complicity. It reveals the paradox of finding dark satisfaction in oppression alongside the struggle to reclaim agency and hope, creating a powerful and timely story that will resonate deeply.
